This glass are destinated to be mounted on armourred cars to prevent their observation devices (telescope sight) from rain, dust and precipitaion.

The electric heating prevents the glass surface from dewing or hoarfrosting at low temperatures.

It is made in two variations:

SE-15M - glass heating by means of a transparent current carrying layer deposited on the glass surface.

SE-15S - glass heating by a current carrying wire located outside the field of view.
